Professional Applications of Generative AI is a fully asynchronous, self-paced course designed to help learners build practical, real-world skills in using generative AI across professional contexts. Participants can move through the course on their own schedule while gaining a strong foundation in generative AI concepts and hands-on experience with widely used tools.
The course begins with an introduction to generative AI and prompt engineering, then explores practical applications using tools such as ChatGPT, Midjourney, and DALL·E. Learners will examine how generative AI supports workplace productivity, automation, data analysis, marketing and branding, creative writing, and multimedia production. Additional modules highlight AI integrations in common professional tools, advanced AI workflows, and emerging trends shaping the future of work.
Throughout the course, learners engage with applied examples and practical exercises designed for independent learning. Legal, ethical, accessibility, and limitation considerations are woven throughout to ensure responsible and informed AI use. By the end of the course, learners will be equipped to confidently apply generative AI tools to streamline workflows, enhance creativity, and make informed decisions in an AI-enabled workplace.
